Making things happen!
I have been with Friends Who Care Pty Ltd for over 2 years now and I find that not only the support from the help provided daily and the team in the office making things happen is all about dedication to the client as a person, caring & kind with just the right level of empathy, high emotional intelligence, and strong & clear communications, and adaptability. Great support workers come in expecting the unexpected and they adapt to the changes seamlessly.
Highly recommend that whatever your support needs are, simple or complex needs Michelle the CEO of Friends that Care Pty Ltd & her fabulous team including Kerri & Kelly CAN & DO make it happen for you.

After 2 years of NDIS my son is smiling
A great source to find great support workers! After more than 2 years in NDIS system, my son is finally smiling and happily going out to the community with a 'stranger' who supports and gives him the right care and understanding! Thank you Michelle & Team, please continue to do what you have been doing for the community.
Cheers Shek
We love camp!
Caden Loves the FWC camps! He loves the venues, all the fun activities, the staff and the whole group. He is very much looking forward to the next FWC he can go on. He thinks the camps offer a great choice of activities, locations and fun things to do. The staff really look after him.

Pack and Sell my mums house & NDIS
I have no hesitation in recommending Michelle, there have been many times that I have used the services of Dalton Time Solutions and in all instances, I have found Michelle to be direct, honest and to the point. She has created a family budget for me setting up fortnightly payments with all of the essentials services. Which really helped me to get back on track.
On another occasion, my mum who lived in country Victoria had to go into aged care very quickly and I need to organise the cleaning up of her home which had become very run down with her illness. Within hours of calling Michelle and explaining what I needed she had organised all different sorts of people to come and quote the work needed. She then drove down with me and met with all the different people including real estate agents.
Michelle did all the talking and negotiating on my behalf. She then got in and got her hands dirty helping to sort through all the rubbish from the things we needed to keep.

On a more regular basis, I have used Michelle’s services to go shopping for me having mobility issues it is great to know I can call on her anytime.
She is honest, reliable and always gets the job done.
Thank you, Michelle, for always being there to deal with something that I don’t want to whatever it is.

Lifesavers for my family
Michelle and her team have been absolute lifesavers for my family. The confidence I feel knowing our needs are covered is just unbeatable, such a weight off my mind.
Michelle is so reliable and thoughtful in matching workers for my child, I don't need to worry - I can trust her to know what will work for us

My cheer squad!
Friends who care should be renamed best friends who care. Michelle's support workers have been my cheer squad, supporting me in all challenging aspects of life.
The kindness and friendship my support workers has displayed is so incredibly kind and has been a big positive change in my life and without your teams support I wouldn't be where I am today without it.
Words cannot express how much you all have changed my life for the better. Nothing is too much for you or the team. I cannot recommend highly enough to give them a chance as it will be life changing.

I love working here
I have been working for Friends Who Care for just over a year now .. and I love it! I delight in helping my Clients and I feel that I learn just as much from them, as they do from me.
Friends Who Care are wonderful employers. Michelle goes over-and-above for her Clients and also for her staff. I sometimes feel guilty, because “work” does not feel like work at all.
FWC take both my needs, and the needs of the Client, into consideration when they “match” us. I love working for Michelle and her team. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.

Transformed by their support
My brother’s life has been transformed by the support that he has been provided. His carers have been a group of amazing people. They have facilitated his engagement with the community, and he has repeatedly reminded me of how grateful he is that he has these wonderful people in his life.
I now feel more confident that his welfare is more secure as I live a significant distance away from him.
As his primary carer I cannot speak highly enough about the organisation. They remain in regular contact with me so that I hear about any issues that have arisen for him as well as the many positive experiences he has had with them.
I would commend “Friends Who Care” to anyone who cares for a person with special needs as their attention to detail and the welfare of their clients helps to change their life for the better and provides comfort and security for those who love them.

Would recommend to anyone!
Friends Who Care have been always easy to communicate with, patient and compassionate. Every support worker I have met through this organisation has been phenomenally kind, professional and supportive with a clear interest in me as a whole person, not just as an NDIS participant.
I would recommend Friends Who Care to anyone looking for support workers.

Life savers
I have been utilising Friends Who Care services for three years and I can’t begin to thank them enough.
Friends Who Care have assisted me in attending appointments, meal preparation, shopping, assistance around the house for me to do things and remain independent and one of the biggest highlights - a weekend away which I have not been able to do in many years.
All the support workers I have used have been fantastic. Easy to get along with, always ready to listen and make sure I am remaining as independent as possible whilst still being safe. I have even used their van that allowed me to remain in my wheelchair to travel to outings and this meant I did not have to pay for taxis.
Their caring and genuine interest in my welfare and goals is a true testament to their name.

My Cheer Team !!
From our very first meet & greet, I knew Michelle Dalton & her merry bunch of carefully selected workers were a great fit. So when Michelle declared she had changed the company name from “Dalton Time Solutions” to “Friends Who Care” I giggled! It was a perfect name because they really are friends who care.
I am finally achieving my goals & celebrating my successes with this wonderful group who I describe as my “cheer team”. They are flexible in the way that they support me, driving me to appointments, unpacking boxes, meal preparation, household cleaning, household maintenance, gardening, errands & so much more. And I am putting my NDIS funding to good use.

NDIS Help
I recently utilised the services of Friends Who Care and would like to thank Michelle for her invaluable assistance and commitment to ensuring my day was a success.
I required transport to a medical appointment that was about 20km away. I then needed to travel to another suburb for shopping needs.
Michelle, whilst being prompt and professional was also friendly and accommodating. I have mobility issues and Michelle helped in any way she could without hesitation.
Michelle was with me from 8:00am until 5:00pm and made my day one of ease and enjoyment. It was like spending the day with a friend. I would recommend Friends Who Care and have already booked further services.

Would we, should we or could we stop? YES!
We were struggling with a recent diagnosis and finding it difficult to make any sense of the depth of information given or sorting out what to do next when we saw a pop-up shop in our local shopping centre manned by Friends Who Care staff.
Would we, should we or could we stop at that display?
We did stop by and that decision was the best connection that we have made, greeted with friendly faces, clear and concise information and a promise of follow up.
The relationship has grown since that first day, three years ago to one of trust, safety, support and honest communication. Led by Michelle Dalton the team consists of the most caring, gentle and professional support staff.
We are so pleased that we made the decision to approach the team on that first day and would encourage others without any hesitation to do the same.

NDIS Help Getting My House Back In Order
Good Morning Michelle,
I don’t know what I was so nervous about!
They were absolutely amazing!
I’m even more excited for next weeks visit & future visits!
Thank you so much for getting me to bite the bullet and just book sessions in last Sunday! I think I would have rung you after 5pm asked you more questions and wouldn’t have made the jump yet.. but I’m so happy and relieved I did!
Even my husband went to work this morning and said to my mum(my husband works for my parents) that they did an amazing job yesterday!
Normally James is a bit stand offish to begin with when strangers come in the house and are in his spaces but James coped really well... Laura was wonderful when she walked in the door James didn’t even give her a chance to pop her things down and finish saying hello before he was leading her outside for her to push him on his swing and both Laura and Cathy were so patient with James when he would pop in and out of the rooms for a visit to see them...
Thank you so much,
Megan
Loving the staff!
Dear Michelle
I just wanted to report back to you how well I think Liam is doing.
He has been fabulous with Jesse and really thoughtful. He is always looking out for Jesse’s best interests and proactively thinks of things Jesse would and wouldn’t like.
I’m supper impressed and love him as much as Ryan, and Kyle. Of course I love Mel and Maz as well. I recommend you and your team all the time.
Thanks for all your hard work
If you ever want to branch out we need a decent day program for kids like Jesse leaving school.
Not like you aren't already busy enough.
I can imagine Mel and Kyle running an awesome day program. With the workers you have.
Any way I said all that to tell you I think you guys are awesome.
King regards
Katrina
Took the time and listened to us!
When we met the team at an expo we were only in the early phases of applying for NDIS support. Other service providers we had spoken to were far too quick to just peddle their services, but what immediately stood out for me was the way Michelle took the time to sit us down, talk and more importantly listen to me, finding out about my journey, my needs and then offering advice for an NDIS newbie, well before my plan was in place. In my 12 months on NDIS i have engaged many services from Friends Who Care. I can honestly say that every care worker I have had contact with has been simply fantastic. Friends Who Care don’t simply provide just ‘another’ support worker for me, they take the time and effort in matching my support with my needs and personality. It’s almost like a matchmaking service that goes beyond providing a basic support service.
Communication with the team in the office is another stand out that sets Friends Who Care above other services.
I have not the slightest hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Friends Who Care for anyone who has the need for engaging care and support services.

Down sizing Help
Dear Michelle,
Let me first say, without any exaggeration, you and your team at Friends Who Care are amazing, and certainly live up to your company name!
Thank you so much for all the incredible work you all put in the last few weeks, in many ways a ‘life saver’.
When I contacted you just a few short weeks ago we were in desperate need for help to move from downsizing from my 5 bedroom home to a much smaller 2 bedroom apartment.
The amount of packing and moving effort was huge and much greater than I and my son and his family [with 3 young children to care for] expected.
After being in the same house for 36 years, there was so much accumulated ‘stuff’, and being over 70 years of age and also my business to run, I could do little of the heavy lifting so to speak, with the Settlement deadline looming just a few weeks away we were all overwhelmed at the work required.
After I phoned you late on a Sunday – out of the ‘blue’ after not having been in touch for over 3 years - [after you first helped me after my dear wife passed away] - despite your own heavy workload – you immediately went into action, and formed a daily 3-person roster for your team to come to help pack, distribute things to charities, indeed organise it all, I was truly overwhelmed with relief and gratitude.
Each of your team were a pleasure to deal with, exceptional in their can-do attitude and that nothing was too hard to do, and were so capable and organised.
I was also so amazed and very happy - to see how well your team then helped unpack the large ’pyramid’ of moving boxes at the other end at my small apartment.
I know anyone who reads this may think I am indulging in flattery and exaggerated praise. I am not.
Friends Who Care have truly helped my family and I - when so much work was needed to be done and quickly - in such an effective, kind, caring and wonderful way.
Thank you again, with love and best wishes to you all.
Dr George Rechnitzer
